Remifentanil for injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, preservative-free, white to off white, lyophilised powder, to be reconstituted before use. This medicine contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per vial, that is to say essentially 'sodium free'. When reconstituted as directed, solutions of remifentanil for injection are clear and colourless and contain 1 mg/ml of remifentanil base as remifentanil hydrochloride.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Glycine, Hydrochloric acid.
