Monitor total & differential leukocyte counts in patients w/ blood dyscrasias before & after therapy. Reduce or discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid vag intercourse & use of vag douche during therapy. Patients w/ hepatic encephalopathy. Peripheral neuropathy & epilepsy may occur due to high dose or long-term use. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly.
