Adult & childn ≥12yr 5 mg daily. Dose of 2.5 mg once daily may be adequate for some patients. Childn 6-11 yr 2.5 mg daily. Adult & childn ≥12 yr Renal impairment CrCl 50-80 mL/min 2.5 mg once daily, 30-50 mL/min 2.5 mg every other day, 10-30 mL/min 2.5 mg twice wkly (administered every 3-4 days).
Avoid activities that require mental alertness or physical coordination. Concomitant use w/ alcohol or other CNS depressants. May impair the ability to drive or use machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.
Potentiated CNS side effects w/ alcohol or other CNS depressants. AUC & t½ may be increased, & clearance decreased w/ ritonavir. Decreased clearance may occur w/ theophylline.
