Per mL Dexamethasone Na phosphate 1 mg, chloramphenicol 5 mg, tetrahydrozoline HCl 0.25 mg
Indications/Uses
Acute or chronic conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis & keratoconjunctivitis, inflammation of anterior uvea, scleritis, episcleritis & myositis which may be associated w/ ocular swelling or infected w/ susceptible microorganism.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac once daily to qid. In acute cases, instill 1 drop hrly.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. TB & fungal disease of the eye; acute herpes simplex, vaccinia, varicella & other viral disease of the cornea & conjunctiva. Pregnancy & newborn baby.
Special Precautions
Prolonged use may result in glaucoma, damage to the optic nerve, defects in visual acuity & fields of vision, posterior subcapsular cataract formation. Not to be used continuously >10 days.
