Alginic acid 200 mg, Al hydroxide (dried) gel 30 mg, Mg carbonate (light) 40 mg (equiv to Mg 0.8 mEq)

Indications/Uses

GERD, hiatal hernia, pyrosis, oesophagitis & acid dyspepsia.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Chew 1-3 tab tid & at bedtime. Max daily dose: Not to exceed Al hydroxide gel 3 g & Mg carbonate 2 g in 24-hr period for >2 wk.

Administration

Should be taken with food: Take after meals & at bedtime. Chew tab thoroughly before swallowing.

Special Precautions

Na-restricted diet (Algycon contains approx 9.2 mg Na).
