Various types of dyspepsia (delayed gastric emptying time, GERD & esophagitis). Nausea & vomiting of various origins & induced by radio or drug therapy.
Nausea & vomitingAdult & adolescent ≥12 yr weighing ≥35 kg 10-20 mg tid-qid. Max: 80 mg daily for 1 wk. DyspepsiaAdult 10 mg qid. May be increased to 20 mg if necessary. Max duration: 2-4 wk.

Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 15-30 min before meals. Disperse tab in 1 tsp of water before taking.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Prolactinoma; GI hemorrhage, obstruction, perforation or conditions where gastric motility could be harmful. Co-administration w/ potent CYP3A4 inhibitors. Moderate or severe hepatic impairment.
Increased risk of heart rhythm disorder & cardiac arrest. Not recommended in patients w/ known existing prolongation of cardiac conduction intervals; significant electrolyte disturbances or bradycardia; underlying cardiac disease eg, cardiac heart failure. Not recommended for chronic use or for routine prophylaxis of post-op nausea & vomiting. Renal or hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly.
