Nadifloxacin
Indications/Uses
Mild or moderate inflammatory forms of acne vulgaris (papulopustular acne, grade I-II).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply on clean & dry affected areas bid for 8 wk, can be extended up to a max of 12 wk.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Do not use under occlusive conditions. Avoid contact w/ eyes & other mucous membranes. Avoid exposition to artificial UV radiation (UV lamps, solar beds, solarium) & avoid when possible the exposition to solar light. Discontinue use if sensitization or severe irritation occurs. Do not apply to damaged skin (cuts & grazes). Childn <14 yr. Pregnancy. Do not use during lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Pruritus, burning sensation, erythema, contact dermatitis & urticaria.
Drug Interactions
Increased skin irritation w/ peeling agents, astringents & products containing irritant substances, & alcohol.
