Each capsule contains Extended Release Pellets: Tamsulosin HCl 0.4 mg.
Tamsulosin HCl is the only 3^rd generation antagonist of alpha_1A adrenoceptors in the prostate.
Chemically, Tamsulosin HCl is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl] amino] Propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride.
Its molecular formula is C₂₀H₂₈N₂O₅S·HCl.
