Indications/Uses
Symptomatic relief of hay fever or other upper resp allergies eg, runny nose, sneezing, itchy & watery eyes, itching of nose or throat. Symptomatic relief of pruritus, erythema & urticaria associated w/ chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥6 yr 1 cap once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue immediately if any signs of allergic reaction occur. Hepatic impairment or renal insufficiency eg, glomerular filtration rate <30 mL/min. Has influence on ability to drive & use machines. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Hypoesthesia, asthenia, dizziness, dysphonia, hypertonia, migraine, paresthesia, tremor, vertigo, agitation, amnesia, anxiety, confusion, decreased libido, depression, impaired concentration, irritability, morbid dreaming, headache & sedation.
Drug Interactions
Increased plasma conc w/ ketoconazole, erythromycin, clarithromycin, or cimetidine.
