View Priorix overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to neomycin or after previous inj. Severe humoral or cellular (primary or acquired) immunodeficiency eg, symptomatic HIV. Avoid pregnancy 1 mth after vaccination.
Not to be administered intravascularly. History of anaphylactic, anaphylactoid or other immediate reactions subsequent to egg ingestion. Postpone vaccination in patients w/ acute severe febrile illness. History or family history of allergic diseases or convulsions. Syncope; worsening & recurrence of thrombocytopenia. Immunocompromised patients. Allow alcohol & other disinfecting agents to evaporate from skin prior to inj. Women of childbearing potential. Not to be used during pregnancy. Lactation. Infants <12 mth.
Temporary depression of tuberculin skin sensitivity. Delay vaccination for at least 1 mth w/ other live attenuated vaccines; at least 3 mth in patients who have received human γ-globulins or blood transfusion.
