In animals, exposure to ganirelix at the time of implantation resulted in litter resorption (see Pharmacology: Toxicology: Preclinical safety data under Actions). The relevance of these data for humans is unknown.
It is not known whether ganirelix is excreted in breast milk.
The use of Orgalutran is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation (see Contraindications).
