Care should be taken for patients with serious renal insufficiency.
Notice to diabetics: 10 ml of this product contains 3.5 g sucrose (equal to 0.3 bread units).
The safety and efficacy of Levodropropizine in children less than 24 months has not been established.
Cough remedies are symptomatic remedies that should only be used pending diagnosis of the causative disease and/or pending the effect of the treatment of the underlying disease. It is recommended that much remedies should be used only for a short period of time (maximum 14 days).
The dose and dose interval do not have to be adjusted for older patients. However, necessary care should be taken with older patients because there are indications that the pharmacodynamic sensitivity to many drugs changes with age.
There is no information available on the effect of food on the absorption of the drug, RESPITUSS should not be taken with the meal.
Effects on ability to drive vehicles or use machines: Drivers of vehicles and machine operators are warned of the possibility of drowsiness with the use of this drug.
