Caution should be exercised in patients with severe cardiac insufficiency, conduction disorders and renal or hepatic insufficiency. The possibility of an additive effect occurring between Praxilene, and antiarrhythmic and β-adrenergic-blocking drugs should be considered.
Use in pregnancy & lactation: There is no or inadequate, evidence of safety of Praxilene in human pregnancy, but it has been used for many years without apparent ill consequence, animal studies have shown no hazard. If drug therapy is needed in pregnancy, Praxilene can be used if there is no safer alternative. There is no information available regarding Praxilene's use during lactation.
