Tab and syr: Long-term use and large doses can cause liver damage.
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Oral drops: Hypersensitivity reactions (rarely found): skin rash, fever.
Blood dyscrasia (rarely found): haemolytic anaemia, neutropenia, leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia.
Hepatic disturbance: acute poisoning may cause a damage to the liver tissue (single dose of more than 15 g).
