Estesia Special Precautions

Do not apply to open wound and mucous membrane.
Do not apply to skin with atopic dermatitis.
Do not use for eyes or area in the vicinity of the eyes as it may cause corneal irritation.
Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Not recommended for patients with congenital and idiopathic methaemoglobinaemia and less than 1 year old infant under treatment with methaemoglobin inducing agent.
In particular patient, dermal application may cause transient local erythema.
Extensive application area or long term treatment is not recommended.
Application which may cause drug penetration or migration into tympanic membrane of middle ear is not recommended due to possibility of ototoxic effect.
Caution should be exercised for patient with severe liver disease.
Caution for patients sensitive to systemic effects of Prilocaine and lidocaine, including elderly, debilitated, and acute illness.
Application for infant less than 6 months is not recommended.
