Caution should be exercised for patient with liver diseases, and concomitant use with hepatotoxic drugs.
In long term therapy, periodic evaluation of organ systems including hematopoietic, renal, and hepatic studies should be performed.
It is recommended given with food to avoid gastric irritation.
