Discontinue use in patients who undergo organ transplantation. Patients w/ NYHA Class IV. Increased LFTs & decreased thyroxine. Monitor patients & assess need for other therapy, including organ transplantation. Concomitant use w/ or dietary intake of products containing sorbitol (or fructose). Severe renal (CrCl ≤30 mL/min) & hepatic impairment. Women of childbearing potential should use appropriate contraception during & for 1 mth after stopping treatment. Not recommended during pregnancy & in women of childbearing potential not using contraception. Not to be used during lactation. Ped.
