Temporary down-titration or discontinue if patients experience symptomatic hypotension or SBP <90 mmHg. Potential for symptomatic hypotension in patients w/ hypovolaemia, severe left ventricular outflow obstruction, resting hypotension, autonomic dysfunction, history of hypotension, or receiving antihypertensives/organic nitrates. Galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Not recommended in concomitant use w/ PDE-5 inhibitors eg, sildenafil. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Not recommended in patients w/ eGFR <15 mL/min/1.73 m
2 at treatment initiation or on dialysis; severe hepatic impairment. Should not be used during pregnancy & in women of childbearing potential not using contraception. Discontinue lactation or discontinue/abstain from therapy during lactation. Childn & adolescents <18 yr.
