Administer 1 dose (0.5 mL) by IM into the anterolateral region of the thigh muscle until infant 12 mth & into the deltoid muscle after infant 12 mth. Intradermal may be used as an alternative on upper or forearm; 1 intradermal dose is 0.1 mL of reconstituted vaccine.
Pre-exposure 3 doses (0.5 mL) on D0, D7, & D28 or D21 for primary vaccination, followed by booster doses depending on the nature of risk.
Intradermal 0.1 mL on D0, D7 & D21 or D28.
Post-exposure Non-immunised (did not receive pre-exposure vaccination) Administer 5 doses (0.5 mL) at D0, D3, D7, D14 & D28.
Intradermal Original Thai Red Cross regimen: 1 inj of 0.1 mL at different sites on D0, D3, D7 & 1 inj at 1 site on D28 (or D30) & D90. Updated Thai Red Cross regimen: 1 inj of 0.1 mL at 2 sites on D0, D3, D7 & D28.
Fully immunised 2 booster doses at D0 & D3, if pre-exposure vaccination was performed <5 yr before.
Intradermal 2 inj on D0, D3.
