1 tab is taken daily starting on the 1st day of menstruation. In women w/ intact uterus, the concomitant use of an appropriate progestogen is advised for 10-14 days every 4 wk.
Suspected adenoma of the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland. History of thrombosis; overwt; varicose veins; fibroids of the womb; endometriosis; liver/gallbladder disease; jaundice; diabetes; HTN, chloasma, epilepsy, benign breast cancer; asthma; migraine, porphyria, otosclerosis, SLE; chorea minor.
Breast tenderness or enlargement, breakthrough bleeding, spotting; dysmenorrhea, changes in vag secretion; GI disorders; skin & SC tissue disorders; headaches, migraine, dizziness, depression, fatigue; changes in body wt & libido.
