Major depressive disorder 50 mg once daily. Patient w/ 24-hr CrCl <30 mL/min or ESRD 50 mg every other day. Moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated w/ menopause eg, hot flushes, night sweats 50 mg once daily for 7 days then titrate to 100 mg once daily. Patient w/ 24-hr CrCl <30 mL/min or ESRD 100 mg every other day.
Avoid abrupt cessation of treatment. Clinical worsening & suicidality. History of mania or hypomania. Patient w/ raised IOP, at risk of narrow-angle glaucoma or predisposed to bleeding. CV, cerebrovascular, lipid metabolism & seizure disorders. Underlying conditions that may be compromised by increases in BP. Regular monitoring of BP. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Childn <18 yr. Pregnancy, lactation.
