Rare anaphylactic event. Not to be administered intravascularly. Postpone vaccination in subjects suffering from acute severe febrile illness. History of anaphylactic, anaphylactoid, or other immediate reactions subsequent to egg ingestion. History or family history of allergic diseases or convulsions. Syncope. Patients w/ thrombocytopenia. Immunocompromised (eg, asymptomatic HIV subjects); immunocompetent patients. Allow alcohol & other disinfecting agents to evaporate from skin prior to inj. Avoid pregnancy 1 mth after vaccination. Lactation. Infant <12 mth may not respond sufficiently; consider revaccination at or after 12 mth.
