Inj IM at the front side of the thigh (middle 3rd). Primary vaccination 3 inj at 1- or 2-mth intervals from 2 mth of age. Booster During the 2nd yr of life.
Convulsant or non-convulsant progressive encephalopathy. Fever ≥40°C, persistent crying syndrome, febrile or non-febrile convulsion, hypotonus-hyporeactivity syndrome. Allergy to any component of the vaccine, neomycin, streptomycin & polymyxin B.
