Indications/Uses
All forms of degenerative osteoarticular disease; OA.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Osamine FC tab Adult 500 mg tid for min of 4 wk or up to 3 yr. Osamine-S powd for oral liqd 500 mg tid or 1 sachet once daily for at least 6 wk.
Administration
FC tab: Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
FC tab: Allergy to shellfish. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Mild & transient GI effects. FC tab: Peripheral edema, tachyarrhythmia; erythema, pruritus; insulin sensitivity, glucose tolerance; nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, anorexia; drowsiness, headache, insomnia.
Drug Interactions
FC tab: Concomitant use w/ doxorubicin, etoposide, teniposide; warfarin.
