Triflusal
Indications/Uses
Reduce the risk of recurrent MI, stable or unstable angina or stroke. Patients who have undergone coronary bypass surgery.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 600-900 mg/day in single or divided doses.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Peptic ulcer, active bleeding. Hypersensitivity to salicylates.
Special Precautions
Renal or hepatic impairment. Patients exposed to bleeding risk due to injury, pathological conditions or long-term NSAID use, surgery.
Adverse Reactions
GI disorders.
Drug Interactions
NSAIDs, oral antidiabetics, oral anticoagulants.
