Oxybutynin HCl
Indications/Uses
Relief of symptoms of bladder instability associated w/ voiding in patients w/ uninhibited neurogenic or reflex neurogenic bladder.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 1 tab bid-tid. Max: 3 tab/day. Childn >5 yr 1 tab bid. Max: 3 tab/day.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Untreated angle-closure glaucoma, untreated narrow anterior chamber angles, partial or complete GIT obstruction, megacolon.
Special Precautions
Autonomic neuropathy, hepatic/renal disease, hyperthyroidism, CAD.
Adverse Reactions
Constipation, dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary retention, drowsiness.
