Menopur Caution For Usage

Incompatibilities: MENOPUR should not be administered in the same injection with other products, except Ferring's urofollitrophin (FSH) BRAVELLE. Studies have shown that co-administration of BRAVELLE and MENOPUR does not significantly alter the expected bioactivity.
Instructions for Use and Handling: The powder should only be reconstituted with the solvent provided in the package.
Attach a reconstitution needle to the syringe. Withdraw the entire content from the ampoule with solvent and inject the total contents into the vial containing the powder. The powder should dissolve quickly to a clear solution. If not, roll the vial gently between the hands until the solution is clear. Shaking should be avoided.
75 IU: If needed, the solution can be drawn up into the syringe again to transfer it to the next vial with powder until the prescribed dose has been reached. Up to three powder vials can be dissolved with one ampoule of solvent.
When the prescribed dose has been reached, draw up the mixed solution from the vial into the syringe, change to a hypodermic needle and administer immediately.
The reconstituted solution should not be administered if it contains particles or is not clear.
Any unused product or waste material should be disposed in accordance with local requirements.
600 and 1200 IU: The single use administration syringes with pre-fixed needle are graduated in FSH/LH units from 37.5-600 IU.
Draw up the reconstituted solution from the vial into the administration syringe for injection according to the prescribed dose and administer the dose immediately. Each ml of reconstituted solution contains 600 IU FSH and LH.
Each reconstituted MENOPUR multidose 600 IU or 1200 IU vial should be for individual patient use only.
The reconstituted solution should not be administered if it contains particles or is not clear.
