Lanate also contains the following excipients: Glycerine, purified water, Polawax GP200 (a mixture of non-ionic blend of higher fatty alcohols and ethylene oxide condensation products), glycerol monostearate, Nipastat GL75 (mixture of methyl, ethyl, propyl and butyl hydroxybenzoate), silicone fluid, light paraffin oil and isopropyl myristate.
Lanate contains lactic acid neutralised with ammonium hydroxide. This produces a cream with a pH of 4-5.
