Treatment & prophylaxis of bronchial asthma & for treatment of reversible airway obstruction associated w/ bronchitis & emphysema. Relief of attacks of acute dyspnoea & may be taken prophylactically before exertion to prevent exercise-induced asthma. Bronchospasm w/ coexisting heart disease or HTN.
Adult & elderlyAcute bronchospasm & intermittent episodes of asthma 1-2 inhalation as a single dose. Chronic maintenance or prophylactic therapy 2 inhalations tds-qds. Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm 2 inhalations before exertion. ChildnRelief of acute bronchospasm, management of episodic asthma & prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm 1 inhalation. Routine maintenance & prophylaxis 1 inhalation tds-qds, may be increased to 2 inhalations tds-qds if necessary.
