Caution For Usage

Preparation for Solution: Cefuroxime for injection, USP shall be reconstituted as per table 2 for IM/IV Injection. (See Table 2.)

Compatibility and Stability: Cefuroxime is compatible with most commonly used intravenous fluid and electrolyte solution. It should not be mixed with aminoglycoside antibiotics.
Reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation. If not used then reconstituted solution of Cefuroxime for injection with SWFI is stable for 4 hours at controlled room temperature (20-25°C) and 24 hours at 2-8°C.
