Indications/Uses
Treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin layer once daily or bid & rub in gently & completely.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ demonstrated hypercalcemia or evidence of vit D toxicity. Should not be used on the face.
Special Precautions
May cause irritation of lesions & surrounding uninvolved skin. Discontinue if irritation occurs & if elevation in serum Ca outside the normal range occur. Avoid exposure to natural or artificial sunlight. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly <65 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Burning, itching, skin irritation. Erythema, dry skin, peeling, rash, dermatitis, worsening of psoriasis including development of facial/scalp psoriasis.
Drug Interactions
Discontinue if irritation occurs. Rapidly reversible elevation of serum Ca. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
