Indications/Uses
Management of post-op wounds, cuts, abrasions, scratches & minor burns. For minor skin injuries where there is capillary bleeding including post-op dressing; surgical procedures for dressing of burn site or various types of wounds; packing of abscess; post-op packing (eg, epistaxis, submucous resection of nasal septum).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin film once daily or bid, morning & evening to entire affected area after cleaning wound w/ water. Affected area may be covered w/ sterile cotton.
Contraindications
Patients taking epsilon aminocaproic acid (EACA).
Special Precautions
Do not use in the eyes. Pregnancy & lactation.
Drug Interactions
Interfered formation of feracrylum-albumin clot & reduced pH resulting in chemical burns w/ EACA.
