Adult & childn ≥40 kg 1,000 mg/200 mg every 8 hr. Childn <40 kg aged ≥3 mth 25 mg/5 mg every 8 hr, <3 mth or <4 kg 25 mg/5 mg every 12 hr. During & after surgeryAdult & childn ≥40kg 1,000 mg/200 mg before surgery. May be repeated if surgery takes >1 hr.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid or penicillin. History of severe allergic reaction to other antibiotics, liver problems or jaundice when taking antibiotic.
Skin rash, vasculitis, fever, joint pain, swollen glands in neck, armpit or groin, angioedema, collapse; inflammation of large intestine; thrush, diarrhoea.
Drug Interactions
May cause allergic skin reaction w/ allopurinol. Adjust dose in concomitant use w/ probenecid. Warfarin (perform blood tests). May affect action of methotrexate.
