Heparinoids helps relieve pain and inflammation of the veins.
It may also be used to treat bruising.
Use Heparinoids exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not use more or less than instructed by your doctor.
This medicine is available as a cream or a gel. To use Heparinoids, follow these steps:
- Before applying this medicine, wash and dry your hands and the affected area.
- Apply a thin layer to the affected areas.
- Rub and gently massage Heparinoids on the skin.
- Wash your hands after each application.
- Replace the cap of the tube.
Avoid applying onto large areas or on broken skin.
Avoid any contact of this medicine with your eyes, mouth or genitals. Rinse it immediately with water if the medicine gets into your eyes. Alert your doctor if you start to have any problems with your eyesight.
Use the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule.
Do not use more than what is instructed by your doctor to make up for the missed dose.
Do not use this medicine to children below 5 years old unless instructed to do so by the doctor.
Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Inform your doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen.
Heparinoids may cause rashes. Inform your doctor if this side effect does not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
Inform your doctor if you are using any other creams, ointments or other medicines on the affected area.
Always notify your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics such as traditional Chinese medicines, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.
Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
