Oral: Erosive or ulcerative GERD, GERD maintenance, duodenal ulcers. Pathological hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Inj:Active duodenal & gastric ulcer w/ bleeding or severe erosions, short-term treatment of erosive or ulcerative GERD, prevention of acid-aspiration during surgery & stress-induced mucosal injury in critical care, pathological hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Oral AdultErosive or ulcerative GERD 1 cap once daily for 4-8 wk. GERD maintenance 1 cap once daily. Duodenal ulcers 1 cap once daily for 4 wk. Pathological hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome Initially 60 mg once daily. Max: 100 mg qds or 60 mg bd. Inj 1 vial once daily. Given slowly over 5-15 min. Infuse over 15-30 min.
