Methotrexate Solution for Injection have been assigned 24 months' shelf life when stored below 30°C in the original package in order to protect from light.
Reconstituted solution: After dilution: Chemical and physical in-use stability has been demonstrated in dextrose 5% and sodium chloride 0.9% infusion solutions for 24 hours at room temperature (20-25) when protected from light.
From a microbiological point of view, the product should be used immediately. If not used immediately, in-use storage times and conditions prior to use are the responsibility of the user.
