Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in Description.
Moderate to severe hepatic impairment, i.e., Child-Pugh class B or C (see Pharmacology: Pharmacokinetics under Actions).
Baseline values of liver aminotransferases, i.e., aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and/or alanine aminotransferase (ALT), greater than 3 x the upper limit of normal (ULN; see Precautions).
Concomitant use of cyclosporine A (see Interactions).
Pregnancy (see Precautions and Use in Pregnancy & Lactation).
Women of childbearing potential who are not using reliable methods of contraception (see Precautions, Interactions and Use in Pregnancy & Lactation).
