Not intended for rapid relief & sole therapy of acute asthma episodes. Patients w/ pulmonary TB & viral airway infections. Paradoxical bronchospasm; Cushing's syndrome, Cushingoid features, adrenal suppression, decreased bone mineral density, cataract, glaucoma. Transferring from oral corticosteroid to inhalation soln. Avoid abrupt discontinuation. Prolonged use w/ high doses. Avoid concomitant use w/ ketoconazole, itraconazole or other potent CYP3A4 inhibitors. Reduced hepatic function. Pregnancy. Growth retardation in childn & adolescents.
