Ketoprofen
Indications/Uses
Local relief of pain & inflammation associated w/ soft tissue injuries, rheumatics, & muscular sprains.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply to the affected skin surface 1-2 times daily for 7 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen, aspirin or other NSAID. History of bronchial asthma or allergic disease.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity in prolonged use; discontinue & institute a suitable alternative therapy. Not to be applied to mucous membrane, eyes, wounds & open wounds, exudative dermatoses, eczema & skin infection, genital area, use w/ bandage. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Renal impairment. Pregnancy. Not recommended in breast-feeding women. Not recommended in childn.
Adverse Reactions
Skin allergic reactions including pruritus & local erythema.
