Per 5 mL Oxomemazine 1.65 mg, guaifenesin 33.3 mg
Indications/Uses
Relieves productive cough due to allergic reactions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >40 kg (>12 yr) 10 mL 4 times daily. Childn 30-40 kg (10-12 yr) 10 mL 3-4 times daily, 20-30 kg (6-10 yr) 10 mL 2-3 times daily, 0-20 kg (2-6 yr) 5 mL 2-3 times daily.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Avoid drinking alcohol & should not be allowed to drive or run heavy machinery during medication. Long term treatment in patients w/ renal impairment. May cause liver function damage when the recommended dose use exceeded. Not for childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
