Drug interactions until now have not been observed. Because iron is a complex compound, ionic interactions with food components (phytin, oxlat, tannin, etc.) and the co-administration with other drugs (tetracycline, antacids), are rarely do. Does not damage the haemoccult test (specifically for HB) to detect hidden blood so there is no need to stop iron therapy.
