Not for ophth use. Discontinue application if irritation or sensitization occurs. Administer in combination w/ appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agent if dermatologic infections occurs. Increased systemic absorption if extensive BSA are treated or if occlusive dressing is used. Apply only if any other less toxic drug is not effective. Pregnant & nursing women. May cause adrenal suppression in infant & childn. Greater susceptibility to topical corticosteroid-induced hypothalamus-pituitary axis suppression & Cushing's syndrome in ped patients. Chronic therapy may interfere w/ growth & development of childn.
