Venous thromboembolism 30 or 60 mg daily following initial therapy w/ parenteral anticoagulant for 5-10 days. Stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation 30 or 60 mg once daily.

Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Significant active bleeding, risk for major bleeding, uncontrolled severe HTN. Concomitant use w/ other anticoagulants. Pregnancy & lactation.
