Erythromycin.
Description
Erymed topical solution contains erythromycin in alcohol-based liquid preparation.
Indications/Uses
All forms of acne, particularly inflammatory forms with papules and pustules.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Cleanse the face thoroughly and pat to dry. Apply Erymed sparingly to the affected skin parts in the morning and at night. Erymed solution is applied from the special applicator bottle directly to the skin or with the fingertips.
Contraindications
Individuals with known sensitivity to any of the components of Erymed cream should not use the preparation.
Use in pregnancy & lactation: Erymed should not be used in pregnancy and lactation.
Special Precautions
Keep away from the eyes, mouth, angles of the nose and mucous membranes. Erymed should be used with caution as patient may develop cumulative irritation and resistance of microorganisms to erythromycin. If irritation and dryness occur, the patient should be directed to use Erymed less frequently.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
Erymed should not be used in pregnancy and lactation.
Side Effects
Skin dryness, tenderness, reddening, burning sensation, erythema and pruritus may occur.
Storage
Keep in a cool and dry place.
