Adult & adolescent ≥12 yr weighing <80 kg Single dose of 40 mg taken as two 20-mg tab, ≥80 kg Single dose of 80 mg taken as two 40-mg tab. Treatment of uncomplicated flu As soon as possible w/in 48 hr of symptom onset. Post-exposure prophylaxis of flu As soon as possible w/in 48 hr following close contact w/ an individual known or suspected to have flu.

Administration
May be taken with or without food: Do not take w/ dairy products, Ca-fortified beverages, polyvalent cation-containing laxatives, antacids, or oral supplements (eg, Fe, Zn, Se, Ca or Mg).
Should not be taken by patients w/ rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients w/ severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh class C). Avoid use during pregnancy. Lactation. Childn <12 yr.
