Indications/Uses
Maintenance treatment of chronic rheumatic disorders.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken with food: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Gastric or duodenal ulcer, severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, allergy to prostaglandin synthetase inhibitors, childn & adolescents, patient under anticoagulant therapy, last trimester pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Duodenal ulcer, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, haematologic or coagulation disorders, elderly, major surgery, hepatic or renal impairment, HTN, heart failure, hepatic porphyria.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, eructation, epigastric distress; hypersensitivity reactions; asthenia, insomnia, irritability, agitation, fatigue, dizziness, drowsiness, vertigo, headache, vision disorders, tinnitus, obnubilations & convulsions; acute renal failure, haematuria, interstitial nephritis, hyperkalaemia, hyporeninism, hypotension; elevation of liver enzymes, icterus, fulminant hepatitis.
Drug Interactions
Other NSAIDs, oral anticoagulants, heparin, ticlopidine, lithium, methotrexate, digoxin, diuretics, pentoxifylline, antihypertensives, interferon-α, thrombolytics.
