Lotion Betamethasone dipropionate 0.064% w/v, salicylic acid 2% w/v. Oint Betamethasone dipropionate 0.064% w/w, salicylic acid 3%
Indications/Uses
Relief of the inflammatory manifestations of hyperkeratotic & dry corticosteroid responsive dermatoses which include psoriasis, chronic atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis & seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Lotion Apply a few drops to the affected area bd. Oint Apply sparingly to the affected area & rub bd, morning & evening.
Contraindications
Viral infections of the skin, TB & acne rosacea.
Special Precautions
Prolonged treatment, when treating extensive BSA, when using the occlusive technique & when treating childn. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, maceration of the skin, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae & miliria, dermatitis.
