Sertaconazole nitrate

Indications/Uses

Vulvovag candidiasis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & adolescent female Single dose administered intravag w/ an applicator before going to bed, 2nd dose may be given to patients w/ residual symptoms after 1-2 wk.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to sertaconazole & azole derivatives.

Adverse Reactions

Genitourinary alterations (feeling of urethral burning), vag pruritus, vaginitis, urinary incontinence, cystitis.
