Indications/Uses
Acute post-op & postpartum non-obstructive urinary retention. Neurogenic atony of the urinary bladder w/ retention.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 10-50 mg/day in 3-4 divided doses.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach.
Contraindications
Avoid use when the strength or integrity of the GI or bladder wall is compromised or in the presence of mechanical obstruction.
Adverse Reactions
Malaise; digestive abdominal cramps or discomfort, colicky pain, nausea & belching.
Drug Interactions
Ganglion blockers.
