Codeine phosphate 10 mg, guaifenesin 100 mg, terpin hydrate 130 mg
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic relief of cough.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 1 tab tid-qid. Max daily dose: 120 mg codeine phosphate.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Bronchial asthma, increased intracranial pressure, resp depression; MAOI therapy.
Special Precautions
Renal or hepatic disease; hypothyroidism, prostatic hypertrophy, obstructive bowel disorders; myasthenia gravis; addiction-prone individuals. Pregnancy. Infant.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances; difficulty in micturition, dry mouth, facial flushing, orthostatic hypotension, hypothermia, mood changes, miosis; dizziness, drowsiness (large doses).
Drug Interactions
Effects may be enhanced by CNS depressants.
